It is not always possible to place an implant immediately after extraction. Sometimes a waiting period of months is needed until bone and tissue recover — that is a natural, planned part of the process, not a delay.
Why wait?
Healing of the extraction site determines implant stability. Healthy bone and closed gum tissue significantly increase the chance of success.
What happens in between?
During the wait we use temporary solutions — a temporary crown, bridge, or arch — so the gap is not visible and does not interfere with daily life.
How do we plan the timeline?
In the planning visit we build an exact schedule: extraction date, interim check, implant date, and final crown — everything aligned before we start.
