There is no universal number — the decision depends on how many teeth show when you smile, the shade of your natural teeth, and the shape of your lips. For most patients it is 6 to 10 veneers on the upper arch.
What determines the number?
Smile width, the gum line, and the natural shade of the back teeth. Sometimes a complementary treatment — such as professional whitening — lets us use fewer veneers and keep a natural look.
Why not always “ten veneers”?
A mismatch between veneers and natural teeth looks artificial. The goal is a harmonious smile that fits your face — not a uniform set.
How do we plan it properly?
With Digital Smile Design we show you the result on your own photo before we start — so you decide together, without pressure, how many veneers you really need.
